Quick Pairings if You’re Feeling Festive

Keep it simple – add one or two extra ingredients and your supper suddenly feels extra special! Here’s some of our favourite Food Sock pairings this season:

Chicken à la King

Serve with garlic toast and a green salad. Finish with cracked black pepper and a spoon of yoghurt.

Thai Green Curry

Add lime wedges and chopped coriander, with a side of sliced cucumbers for a cool crunch.

Chilli Beef Stew

Add some warm rolls to the table for dipping, top with sliced spring onion or a dash of hot sauce if you like extra heat.

Tomato Bredie

Stir in a spoon of yoghurt and sprinkle with parsley, with quick carrot ribbons on the side.

Pasta Bolognese

Add a handful of grated cheddar and black pepper, and serve with a simple tomato salad.

Finish with parsley and a squeeze of lemon. Add buttered toast soldiers for dunking.

Fluff with a fork, top with fresh tomato–onion sambal and a dollop of yoghurt.

Stir through bacon, fresh cheddar, and finish with a sprinkle of toasted breadcrumbs.

For a cosy dessert moment – add cinnamon, sugar, or a drizzle of honey to this tasty traditional.

Tangy Fish Stew

Add lemon wedges and chopped dill/parsley, and serve with crusty bread.

A Busy-Season Pantry That Has Your Back

Keep a few grab-and-go bits on hand so supper never derails the evening:
