The non profit company was started to help kids dealing with Cancer as well as Abused and raped kids.
The goal is to help them feel like they not alone and be showing them hope the Farm is giving hope.
These kids come from pour homes where they wonder where the next meal come from. We have just ordered about 400 food sock packets to help us help them. We can only ask for more help. Regards Robert

We a drug and alcohol recovery centre. We do not discriminate against any religion, age or race. We believe that anyone should have the chance to recover from this terrible disease. We are not interested in profit as we will not deny ANY person that needs help.
We will find sort of means to feed those and clothe them. For us the satisfaction is greater to see someone recover and be a blessing to society.

Am nominating this organization because of its impact in the society. It is based in a community where some parents struggle to keep their children in the creche because of being unable to pay for fees, which as a result the center has to let go because of the strain that unpaid fees bring to the center. With the assistance of these donations it will help to also accommodate the children whom have been admitted in the center and many more with struggling parents.

I would like to nominate Helping Those in Need, because what they do in East London is nothing short of life-saving. They care for children who have been abandoned, raped, and abused — little ones who arrive with trauma, fear, and nothing to call their own. Yet inside their safe house, those children find love, protection, and a chance to breathe again. They pour their hearts into 18 vulnerable children every single day, often stretching what little they have just to make sure no child goes without.
But their kindness doesn’t stop at their doorstep. Even when their own shelves are empty, they still find a way to give. They provide vegetables, food items, and any supplies they can gather so that community mothers can cook meals for those who would otherwise go hungry. They support nine soup kitchens, feeding 2,000–2,500 children each weekday — children who look forward to that one warm meal, because it might be the only one they receive.
They help unemployed single mothers, struggling children’s homes, daycares, and entire communities that depend on them for hope. They arrange outreaches, Christmas parties, and even birthdays for children who have never had the joy of being celebrated.
And the most incredible part?
They give, even when they are the ones who desperately need support.
They choose compassion over comfort, sacrifice over ease, and love over everything else.
Winning would mean the world to them. It would ease their financial burden, allow them to keep feeding thousands, and help them continue protecting the children whose lives depend on their kindness. It would give them strength to keep doing the work that so many take for granted but so many cannot live without.

Peniel Holistic Care Centre – Brief Outline
Peniel Holistic Care Centre, founded in 2010, serves vulnerable families, children, youth, and the elderly. We provide counseling, feeding schemes, and community support with the heart of restoring dignity and hope through God’s love.
Why Food Parcels Are Needed
Many families in our community struggle with poverty, unemployment, and crisis.
Food parcels are essential because:
Most households have little or no income.
Children and elderly often go hungry.
Food parcels provide immediate relief in times of crisis.
Nutritious food supports physical, emotional, and mental well-being.
Peniel continues to stand in the gap, ensuring no family is left without a meal.

I would like to nominate Basadi Tiang Maatla for food socks because these women are the quiet backbone of their families and community. Many of them carry heavy burdens with strength and dignity, often putting the needs of others before their own. Despite facing daily challenges, they continue to show resilience, unity and compassion.
Providing them with food socks is not just about giving a meal — it is about honouring their courage, acknowledging their struggles, and reminding them that they are seen, supported and valued. They truly deserve this small act of care and relief.

This is a hospice that helps terminally ill patients, a lot of these patients are unable to afford the fees and this generally strains this beautiful and very well-run facility. The facility depends on food donations in order to feed patients and such an opportunity will benefit the facility and the patients a great deal.

They also provide skills training to 95 youth and adults with disabilities in workshops and arts and crafts safe spaces. All these projects are partially funded and the rest of the money for food and care is raised by the 66 staff members. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

Dews of Quietness has been in operation since 2012 and with the aftermath of Covid ,funding and food security became less supportive as before. The feeding is particularly important for the Senior Group who meets once per week, and rely on healthy and nutritional meals, but also the broader community , which has a 75% single parent component ,and we find that our grandparents have to use their meagre pension to support families. It is a proven fact that people do not support programmes and developmental training anymore – unless a meal is provided and we have experienced this in the programmes they offer which is the literacy group, seniors, counselling and physco – social support and women’s groups.

“Tswelelang Cultural Dancers is a vibrant organisation registered as an NPO in the year 2012 and it’s directors are mainly orphans dedicated to preserving and promoting traditional cultural dance, ballet, and contemporary styles among youth, providing food parcels to deprived households, assist with the elderly to register IDs and social grants. Through their partnership with Food Forward, they have been supporting our community by donating food parcels to our soup kitchen, helping feed vulnerable individuals and families. By nominating Tswelelang Cultural Dancers, we recognise their impactful work in arts education, community empowerment, and social responsibility. Supporting Tswelelang Cultural Dancers helps nurture talent, foster community spirit, and keep traditional arts alive for future generations.”
